This is a single 2-hour long session where you will get to experience two main components of Kyudo - Shaho (Shooting Techniques) and Taihai (Body Postures & Movements).

•  What can I expect from learning Kyudo?
  Kyudo is a martial art that focuses on personal development. It is a path that is best taken slow (even our shooting is slow) and long. If you enjoy a quiet martial art that allows you to focus on improving yourself, Kyudo might be for you. Throughout your journey, there will be opportunities for you to meet like-minded people and travel around the globe if you wish. 
   

• When/Where is the next course?
  There is no fixed schedule but it typically falls on Saturdays. If you have expressed interest in this form, you will receive an email (from Singapore Kyudo) prior to the introduction for confirmation. The training location is around East side area (Changi). 
   

•  How much is the fee for this course?
  As of now, we are charging 30 SGD for this course. As we are a non-profit organisation, we are always trying our best to keep fees low while still being able to sustain as a club.
   

• What should I prepare?
  Although we have a standard training attire, newcomers and beginners are only required to wear comfortable tops, long pants and socks as we will be doing some physical activities such as kneeling. Try to avoid overly flashy colored and/or patterned clothing (white and black are the best). Equipment for the course will be provided by the club. Finally,  do bring along your water as well.
   

• What happens if I can't turn up for training at the last moment?
  You should try to contact us ASAP so that others in line can have the opportunity to attend in your place. If possible, we will try our best to reschedule your session. Failure to do so without a valid reason may result in getting blacklisted.
   

• I am interested in further Kyudo training and have completed the introductory course.
  Welcome aboard. For all participants that have completed the intro course, you are most welcome to continue your journey with us. We hold weekly trainings and gear will be provided by the club until we deem you proficient enough to obtain your own equipment.
